Description
Made from high quality carbon steel, hardened and tempered and sharpened with a bevelled edge so the cappings fall away. The steam heated knife has the metal steam tubing attached close to the edge of the blade to ensure maximum dispersal of heat. The knife had the same convenient bend between the blade and the handle for ease of uncapping and the steam tubing angles off to the side so the hot plastic tubing carrying steam from the boiler to the knife does not run across users arm. This design is only safe and convenient if used in the right hand. The straight steam version is available for beekeepers who are left-handed.
